In 2044, people under 20 years of age will make up at least 20% of the population in the Philippines, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United States, and the United Kingdom in descending order of composition.
On the other hand, between 2024 and 2044, there will be population aging and a significant decrease in the number of people in the workforce (aged 20-64) in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Sinigapore and Germany.
As of 2024, in the 17 countries, only Japan, Hong Kong and Germany have more than 20% of the population over the age of 65, however, by 2044, the population over the age of 65 will also account for more than 20% in China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom.

On the other hand, between 2020 and 2040, the countries with aging populations and a significant decrease in the number of people in the workforce (aged 20-64) are Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and Germany. As of 2020, Japan is the only one of the 17 countries with more than 20% of its population aged 65 and over, but by 2040 China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany will also have more than 20% of their population aged 65 and over.
