We collected images from consumers in 11 countries on the theme of "Interior Design Favorites" and analyzed the data on the elements (outlines and materials) contained in the images and the responses to image words that match the images.

The detailed country-by-country report includes the following information.
 (1) A list of images uploaded in each country, categorized by "matching image words" x "materials
 (2) A tabulation of what kinds of "outlines" and "materials" are most commonly used for each "matching image word.

Summary

In China, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam, images of "wood" were mentioned more often than in other countries in "Interior design I like" when broken down by material.

Research design

・Respondent criteria:
Males and females aged 20-49
People with a high level of design sensitivity (those who answered in the top 3 (positive) for any of the following items on a 7-point scale: "I would pay more than the usual price for a well-designed product," "I own many well-designed products," and "I am good at taking pictures")
Those who have a car at home that they drive themselves and were involved in the decision to buy the car.
Excluded are industries related to automobiles, mass media, advertising, and market research.
