ハノイで過ごしやすい時期は、4月～6月と9月～12月頃。 4月は30度前後の暑い日が続くがが、晴天が多い時期。9月～11月は25度前後と少し涼しくなり、晴天も多い。 6月は40度前後と非常に暑い日が続き、また6月～8月は雨季となる。 12月は涼しく霧深くなり、12月の終わり～3月までは10度以下の寒い日が続くため、コートやジャケット、マフラー等を持参するとよい。
