On the other hand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, India and UAE have relatively poor healthcare delivery systems, with the number of hospital beds per 1,000 people being less than two. The number of hospital beds is on the rise in China, Korea, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India have less than 1 doctor per 1,000 people, suggesting that it is not easy to get to see a doctor. The number of doctors is on the rise in Japan, China, Singapore, India, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
