Japan, Korea and Germany have a large number of hospital beds per population, which indicates a relatively good healthcare delivery system. On the other hand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, India and UAE have relatively poor healthcare delivery systems, with the number of hospital beds per 1,000 people being less than two. The number of hospital beds is on the rise in China, Korea, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Germany has a very high number of doctors per 1,000 people (4.2 per 1,000 people), while Japan, Korea, Singapore, the U.S., the U.K. and Saudi Arabia have around 2.5 per 1,000 people. On the other hand, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India have less than 1 doctor per 1,000 people, suggesting that it is not easy to get to see a doctor. The number of doctors is on the rise in Japan, China, Singapore, India, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
