On the other hand, the countries with the lowest average life expectancy in the same year are India, Philippines, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam. Compared to the previous year, the countries with the highest growth rates are Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, and India. When comparing the difference between men and women, the average life expectancy of women is longer than that of men. Among the countries where the difference between men and women is particularly pronounced are the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.

The countries with the longest average healthy life expectancy in 2016, in order of size, are Singapore, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Germany, all over 70 years old. On the other hand, the countries with the shortest average life expectancy in the same year are India, Indonesia, and the Philippines, all around 60 years old. The countries with the highest growth rates compared to the previous year are, in descending order, India and Saudi Arabia. When comparing the difference between men and women, the average healthy life expectancy of women is longer than that of men. Among the countries where the difference between men and women is particularly pronounced are Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, and Japan, all of which have a difference of more than four years between men and women.
