【中国】中国における新シニア層の実態に迫る

新シニアとは?

「新シニア」とは、主に1955～1974年生まれ50～69歳までのことを称する。このコラムでは、中国における新シニア層「洗練された生活を追求するおしゃれシニア」「平穏な伝統的定年生活を送る保守的シニア」「老後の生活が不安、定年戸惑いシニア」「オールラウンダーシニア」の4つのタイプについて、その価値観についての実態に迫る。

· 「孫の世話」から「自分を大切にする」へと変化。バランスの取れた老後生活を送りたい。

· 適切な距離感を保つ：「子どもが私を必要とするとき、私は良き支援者になる。必要としないなら、自分の生活に専念する」。新シニアは包容性があるオープン思考。親子間の関係は「尊敬」と「支援」であり、「支配」と「依存」ではないと考えている。
