<Data Joke> [Singapore] Aircon free
I sweat a bit since air-con is spoiled at the café where I work. Japanese might feel it strange to call it air-con since it actually is a "cooler" which doesn't have warming function. It reminds me of a person who is calm & logical without having friendly communication. But I like the coolness. (What am I talking about...) I am the believer of "Aircon is man’s greatest invention" which I don't think somebody said. Of course, the original sentence is "Compound interest(Einstein)" but not "Aircon".
Aircon is controversial. I remember, I felt that electricity bill was expensive than expected but I still kept it on. Japan in summer, it is common to see the battle against temperature setting of it in the office. It keeps you feel outside if you have turned it off or not. I really hope that the aircon at this café will be fixed soon.

Aircon is naturally there to me all the time but I found it was not. National consumption research (2009) surprised me by showing that the aircon penetration in Hokkaido is 16%. 16%?? 16%, Ummm maybe the same as % in 40th Male who have never been to Italian restaurant in Japan...(J-Net21,2008,15%)*. Does it mean that if I search for rent in SUUMO, which is the property search service in Japan, the number will be reduced a lot if you choose aircon as a condition? OK, Let me try.
Yes when I tried it in Hokkaido Sapporo city, it was down to 22%. Wow. I feel like the cool person at the beginning shows a bit of concerning face, less confidence to me (Wrong).
