Do you regret? It sounds a bit strange to be asked like this. Is there anybody who replies "Hahahaha, yes I do very often. It's so much fun!". It sounds funny since "regret" is not to be used for something happy basically. But maybe...
Daily Mail (2012) * shows that people in UK spend average 45minutes for regretting in a week. Are 45 minutes long or short?... If we includes daily small regret like "Gaaah I should have brought my umbrella today." or "Why I put on this white cloth today", I guess I regret for 45 minutes per week. Ummm maybe its still too long to me. How do you think about regretting around 6 minutes a day??

The chart above refers to Airtrip (2019) survey about "What you would tell to do if you can advise to you when you are young. Some of them are something you can start even now... (Why we don't...)
Most of listed things are something I totally agree or can not agree more. On the other hand, considering of my younger days, If somebody old comes and suddenly tell my to put more effort on learning language, I would most likely just don't listen to it seriously and just reply "Hahaha, yes I understand". Or I just resist saying that what did you do when you were my age. Hahahaha. Words from people who didn't(Me) are not persuasive enough.
"Take care of your kids more" suggest a lot about the particular Japanese culture. Especially in my parents age (traditional culture), taking care of kids were Mom's job and in the end, they regret that they didn't spend time with kids. I'm wondering where that regret comes from. Maybe they can not do well with their daughters and feel sad from it? Or suddenly want to play catch with their sun?? Well if I were a kid, I would be confused if I was suddenly told like that though.
Well tops of the list sounds quite universal which anybody in the would would consider.
*This story uses real data but whole story is fiction.
