Digital wallet, also known as e-wallet has become widespread in Vietnam, and an increasing number of Vietnamese consumers are using multiple payment platforms/services. This report provides an overview of the actual situation of Vietnamese consumers regarding electronic payments, including how they use each service and what they consider important when selecting a service.

Summary

Vietnam has a variety of payment services such as MoMo, ZaloPay, ShopeePay, and GrabPay. In this survey, 84% of consumers multiple payment services, and use them for different purposes.
Convenience is the most important factor, followed by promotions for Generation Z, while security is important for Generation X.
