The Philippines has the highest fertility rate (2.66), followed by Saudi Arabia (2.40), Indonesia (2.27), India (2.18) and Vietnam (2.04).
East Asia, on the other hand, has the lowest fertility rate, with South Korea (1.05) being the lowest, followed by Taiwan (1.13), Hong Kong (1.13), Singapore (1.14) and Japan (1.44).
Compared to 10 years ago, the UAE (-27.9%) and Saudi Arabia (-25.5%) are showing a marked downward trend, while Germany (+14.6%) and Hong Kong (+9.7%) are increasing.
