
"Heinz", a major American condiment manufacturer, will launch two new products in March 2019 for the approaching barbecue season (end of May to September): "MayoCue", a combination of mayonnaise and barbecue sauce, and "MayoMust", a combination of mayonnaise and mustard. MayoChup, a mixture of mayonnaise, ketchup, and special spices, was commercialized in 2018 after a Twitter survey revealed that it was popular in East Coast areas such as Chicago and Brooklyn, and that there was demand for a product that combined mayonnaise and existing sauces. This is the second product in the "Mayo + XX" series, which is actively promoted through social networking sites. The price is $3.49 (about 390 yen) for a 16.5-ounce bottle.
