The share of Japanese brands exceeded 10%, and the number of brands, stores and products sold increased 2.5 fold.
On the other hand, the presence of Japanese brands declined in the baby&maternity and apparel industries.
Changes occurred in the lineup of top brands in many industries, especially the food and beverage industry.


While there are positive factors for the inbound revival, such as the weak yen, the rising spending power of Chinese consumers, the end of the zero-coronavirus measures, and the increase in the number of flights,
there are also negative factors, such as the convergence of the Japan-China gap, and the fact that the "advance list for visiting Japan" that used to exist is a thing of the past, so it is necessary to keep a close eye on it.
